The selected candidate will provide specialized family centered care for acutely ill/injured infants children and teens in the Beeghly Emergency Department. The Emergency Department (ED) sees more than 38000 visits annually. Enjoy practicing in a new 35000 square foot state-of-the-art ED that features 23 treatment rooms. Our Beeghly campus ED collaborates with the Akron campus which is a designated level 1 trauma center. Akron Childrens Hospital is the only pediatric hospital in northeast Ohio that has its own helicopter and pediatric transport team.
