Financial Services Industry- Investment Management
- Preparation and review of 1120-RIC returns, 1065 Partnership returns, review 8613 Excise returns and accompanying forms (8621, 6871, schedule D etc) for mutual funds of large financial clients.
- Responsible for providing compliance services where quarterly IRC Section 851 diversification tests are conducted to ensure that Mutual Funds for large corporate clients electing RIC status under the 1940 act maintain their qualification.
- Responsible for examining information such as Annual Reports, Trial Balance, Partners K-1 Tie Out, Wash Sales, Futures, Forwards, Straddles, and FX Futures reports.
- Preparation of tax provisions to identify whether RIC’s compliance with relevant code sections such as IRC Sec 855(a) and IRC Sec 852 (b)(7).
- Assist in training new staff and summer interns.
