Job Details: Facility: Clara Maass Medical Center Department: Medical Unit-II Shift: Day Pay Range: $124,414.76 – $159,263.78 per year (New Jersey) Order #: 0000236746 Job Overview: Clara Maass Medical Center, located in Belleville, New Jersey, is part of RWJBarnabas Health and serves as a comprehensive care facility. The Medical Unit-II handles a variety of medical conditions and operates a 32‑bed ICU, along with other specialty services. Required Certifications and Licenses: Registered Nurse licensed in New Jersey Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BCLS) Graduate of an accredited nursing program; a Master’s degree is highly preferred Successful completion of all orientation Schedule: Full-Time Days: 7 am – 8 pm Every other weekend and holiday required Essential Functions: Assist the Nursing Director in ensuring quality care delivery for all patients and units per hospital policies. Develop and maintain an environment that promotes compassionate care, excellence, and superior service. Assist in developing patient care standards, continuing education, and staff performance evaluations. Coordinate staffing schedules to meet department needs. Lead performance improvement, patient safety, and patient experience initiatives. Ensure unit compliance with survey readiness and environmental/equipment requirements. Oversee purchase order placement, ensuring timely delivery of materials or services. Conduct daily rounds to uphold patient throughput and intervene with ancillary and support services.
