Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay: $30-$50/hour , based on experience and skill level

We're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who can take a blueprint or CAD drawing, set up the equipment, program and troubleshoot CNC code, make precision adjustments, and produce high-quality parts to exact specifications.

What You'll Do


As a CNC Machinist , you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machining equipment and producing precision parts according to blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment.
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot CNC G-code and M-code programs for complex parts.
• Read and interpret mechanical prints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
• Perform machine setup, calibration, tooling changes, and process adjustments.
• Select and adjust tooling to optimize machining operations.
• Use precision measuring equipment-including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and CMMs -to verify dimensions and part quality.
• Inspect parts throughout and after the machining process to ensure they meet specifications.
• Perform manual machining tasks when needed, including rotary die cutting .
• Troubleshoot equipment and machining issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Identify opportunities to improve machining processes, efficiency, and material utilization.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve production flow.
• Maintain accurate, consistent quality standards throughout the machining process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all required safety procedures and manufacturing standards.

What You Must Have to Be Considered


We're looking for a skilled CNC Machinist , not simply a machine operator. The ideal candidate understands the entire machining process-from reading the print and setting up the machine through programming, inspection, troubleshooting, and making adjustments.


Required skills and experience:

• Previous professional experience as a CNC Machinist or in a comparable machining role.
• Strong understanding of CNC machine setup and operation.
• Experience creating, editing, and troubleshooting G-code and M-code .
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical prints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software , preferably including SolidWorks .
• Ability to perform machine setup, calibration, tooling changes, and process adjustments.
• Strong knowledge of precision measurement techniques.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and/or CMM equipment .
• Familiarity with CNC routers, waterjet cutters, or other CNC equipment.
• Strong basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and machining adjustments.
• Understanding of quality inspection processes and dimensional requirements.
• Knowledge of safe machine setup and operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot problems, and make sound machining decisions.

A plus:

• Experience machining plastics and foam products .
• Experience with rotary die cutting.
• Experience working with lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong SolidWorks/CAM programming experience.
• Experience working with multiple types of CNC equipment.
