Overview

This position will begin Fall 2026.

Program Schedule & Position Details:
This program operates Monday through Thursday and offers multiple part-time schedule options:

• 9:25 AM-12:30 PM (approximately 16 hours per week): Staff in this role will support students in Grades 1-3 during morning programming.
• 9:00 AM-3:00 PM (approximately 21 hours per week): Staff in this role will provide morning support and may support additional sites in the afternoon.
• 9:45 AM-1:15 PM (approximately 14 hours per week): Staff in this role will support students during mid-morning instructional blocks.

Tutors will provide contracted instructional services with the necessary educational expertise in reading, mathematics, and writing for students.


Responsibilities

As a tutor with Catapult Learning, you will:

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and delivers prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students
• Communicate and conference with parents providing information on student progress
• Deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company
• Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to students through the utilization of Company-designed materials and educational strategies.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from sessions.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
• Attend and document meetings/training with Company Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
• Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What we'll need from you:


The positive, enthusiastic tutor we seek has these qualifications.

• 4 year degree and some work experience with children.
• Tutors must complete an FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

Pay Rate

USD $35.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr.
Physical Requirements

Physical Environment/Working Conditions:


Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs. Most programs are in school settings.
