About the Position

Our organization is on the lookout for a committed and enthusiastic Board Certified or Active Candidate for Board Certification full-time Obstetrics & Gynecology physician. This role involves joining our collaborative and vibrant team to deliver comprehensive healthcare services across the State of Hawaii. An opportunity for a faculty appointment through the John A Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawai'i is also available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive OB/GYN services, which encompass outpatient consultations, office procedures, inpatient care, deliveries, and gynecological surgeries.

• Instruct and guide medical students and OB/GYN residents as part of a core faculty position.

• Engage actively in a clinical learning environment and fulfill academic duties.

• Participate in a balanced call schedule.

• Manage a patient load of 18-25 individuals per clinic day.

• Contribute as a dedicated and experienced team member focused on delivering high-quality medical care.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible.

About Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children stands as Hawaii's sole maternity, newborn, and pediatric specialty hospital. It is widely recognized as the leader in the care of women, infants, and children in the region. With 253 beds, this not-for-profit facility delivers approximately 6,000 babies annually and serves as a teaching and research institution. Specialty services offered to patients across Hawaii and the Pacific include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency care for both pediatric and adult patients, critical care air transport, and high-risk perinatal services. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialized care at Kapi'olani. The medical center houses the Kapi'olani Women's Center and the Women's Cancer Center, along with various community programs and services, including specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center, and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
