Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical TelemetrySchedule: 12-Hour Night ShiftAssignment Details:Contract Length: 13 weeksGuaranteed Hours: Not specifiedRequirements:Current RN License in the stateAHA BLS Certification requiredCMSRN Certification preferredAt least 1 year of clinical experienceAt least 1 year of clinical experience in specialtyNIH Stroke Scale Certification required prior to startingEpic experience from within the past 2 years is requiredRoles & Responsibilities:Provide nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition.Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.Document patient care and progress accurately and timely.Compliance / Notes:Orientation for travelers is bi-weekly.Scrubs: Navy Blue & White, solid colors in any combination.Reliable transportation is required; public transportation is not accessible in this area.Travelers must work 2 out of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Years Day/Eve.
