Project Services Training Coordinator

Almac Group is seeking a Training Coordinator at our Durham, NC location. The role coordinates logistics and attendance of internal compliance training—including SOPs, Policies, new hire onboarding, GXP, and other compliance training for Project Services specific roles. Responsibilities also include communication with department managers and SMEs, basic training of new hires, and maintaining accuracy within the LMS. Responsibilities Independently handle all logistical coordination for new hires and existing staff within the department, including scheduling and communicating onboarding sessions. Coordinate additional and make‑up training sessions to ensure timely training record closure. Liaise with the Almac Central Services Training Coordinator to ensure induction training and departmental rotations are completed and align with the training system. Execute data entry procedures for the creation of LMS curricula and evaluations, run LMS reports, and assist Training Specialists in overseeing training curriculum requirements. Maintain accurate training records within the Almac Learning Management System, following all defined procedures. Contribute to the generation, maintenance, and delivery of non‑complex, department‑specific training, including delivering selected SOP training to existing and new staff with appropriate preparation of materials and learning activities. Provide administrative support to the department, such as organizing training rooms and materials, fulfilling necessary administrative duties, and maintaining the Project Services SharePoint site. Qualifications High school diploma or GED with four years of work experience OR associate's degree in training, education, instructional systems design, business, or related field with two years of work experience. One year of relevant work experience. Strong facilitation skills. Excellent customer service, ability to prioritize, and a flexible attitude. Preferred Experience / Education Bachelor's degree in training, education, instructional systems design, or organizational development. Previous experience as a training coordinator or in a detail‑oriented, organizational role focused on logistical communication. Experience with Cornerstone or similar LMS and with LMS administration and reporting. Experience coordinating global programs with varied levels of management under tight timelines. Ability to facilitate small group training and build relationships with internal and external subject matter experts and stakeholders.
