Registered Nurse (RN) Urgent Care | Days | California

Pay: Up to $2,366/week (based on experience, eligibility, and location)

Location: Playa Vista, CA (Local candidates welcome)

Job Type: 13-Week Contract | Full-Time | Day Shift

Join a leading outpatient healthcare organization seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Urgent Care for a 13-week assignment in Playa Vista, California. This role is ideal for RNs with Urgent Care or Emergency Room (ER) experience who thrive in a fast-paced outpatient setting and are comfortable treating patients across all age groups.

Schedule

• Monday Friday: 11:30 AM 10:00 PM

• Saturday Sunday: 8:30 AM 7:00 PM

• Every other weekend required

• Floating to a nearby Urgent Care location may be required

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries.

• Perform IV starts, venipuncture, medication administration, and patient education.

• Conduct EKGs, vital signs, and clinical assessments.

• Assist with splinting, wound care, nebulizer treatments, and minor procedures.

• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR.

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License (required at time of submission)

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience

• At least 1 year of Urgent Care or Emergency Room experience

• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)

• Experience with Epic electronic medical records

• Comfortable working with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification

• IV therapy and venipuncture experience

• EKG interpretation

• Splinting and orthopedic care

• Pediatric Urgent Care experience
