Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in Medical Surgical License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience with Med/Surg, MS/Tele - Skills in Bariatric surgery, Feeding tube care and management - Ability to interpret dysrhythmias - Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE - Experience with telemetry and remote monitoring - Proficient in management of dysrhythmias - Skills in peripheral line care/management and PICC line management

Description: Unit details include a variety of diagnoses, including General Medical-Surgical, Orthopedic, GYN, and Bariatric. Staffing includes interdisciplinary support from Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy. The daily census is approximately 18 patients, with a total of 18 beds available. Patient care primarily involves adults and geriatrics. Patient ratios for day and night shifts are 6:1. Weekends require coverage every other week. No call requirements are present for this unit. Travelers may float within facility/scope of practice as needed. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Compliance is required to start on time. If any major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work as needed. Specific holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission. Completion of compliance documents is required before starting the contract. Please ensure that all relevant competencies and skills are up to date.
