Moving Truck Driver

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused professional to support the timely transport of household, commercial, or specialty items using a moving truck. This position plays an important role in ensuring items are loaded, transported, and delivered with care, while providing a positive experience for customers throughout the moving process. Responsibilities Operate a moving truck safely and in compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and transportation regulations. Pick up, transport, and deliver customer belongings in a timely and professional manner. Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Assist with loading, securing, and unloading items to help prevent damage during transit. Use appropriate equipment and techniques to move heavy or fragile items safely. Maintain accurate trip records, delivery details, and other required documentation. Communicate clearly with dispatch, team members, and customers as needed. Represent the company with professionalism, courtesy, and respect at all times. Follow all safety procedures and company standards throughout each move. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record. Experience operating moving trucks, box trucks, or similar commercial vehicles preferred. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items as part of daily work. Strong attention to safety, detail, and customer service. Good communication and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and safe loading practices. Preferred Attributes Prior moving, delivery, logistics, or transportation experience. Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools. Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Professional demeanor and a problem-solving mindset. Work Environment This role may involve driving for extended periods, working in varying weather conditions, and performing physical tasks throughout the day.
