Software Engineer

Location: Onsite in Norfolk, VA

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Employment Length: 6 month (conversion based on performance)

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00/ hr. (with salary conversion after contract)

Job Description:

• Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions for the OOMA application
• Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems related to program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, and programming techniques
• Prepare technical documentation including operating instructions, white papers, and system administration guides
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment
• Maintain and enhance existing code bases and participate in code reviews
• Conduct vulnerability research and ensure software standards and security requirements are met
• Support the implementation of cyber solutions in conjunction with hardware product development
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for deployed systems
• Ensure compliance with DoD standards and security protocols

Requirements:

• US Citizen
• Active Secret Clearance
• IAT II (Security +)
• 5+ YOE
• DoD Business IT supply, logistics, maintenance, and/or personnel administration systems for aviation, afloat, or shore activities
• Agile experience
• Experience w/ the following: Perl, batch scripting, iSQL, AutoIT, Apache Ant XML, PowerShell, Java, JBoss, Powerbuilder, Windows 10,11,2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Strong experience w/ virtualization VMware, Hyper-V, VMware workstation)
• Knowledge os SAP ASE and replication server experience
