Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills: Starting IVs Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. Travelers are not required, and locals are accepted. Certified BLS is mandatory. The nurse will be responsible for patient care with a ratio of 1:6. This is a night shift position, scheduled from 18:45 to 07:15. Every other weekend commitment is required. Float requirements are minimal; however, the nurse may work as a sitter or monitor tech if needed. The nurse will utilize Meditech for documentation and Omnicell for medication management. Daily interactions involve interdisciplinary support and patient care across various age groups. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as per job requirements. Weekend shifts and training may be part of the contract. Must work during two out of the three major holidays. All requests for time off must be pre-approved.
