As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality menu items with consistency and efficiency, ensuring the satisfaction of our guests. You will maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhere to food safety standards, and collaborate with our culinary team to innovate and improve our offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine love for Cuban cuisine and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure all food is cooked to the highest standards of quality and taste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation protocols to ensure food safety.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth workflow during service.
• Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes.
• Provide input on improving kitchen operations and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting, with knowledge of Cuban cuisine preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
