Counter Sales - Hartford, CT

NorthEast Electrical is looking for a full‑time Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Hartford, CT. Shift: Monday‑Friday 6 am–3 pm. Salary Range: $25–$28 per hour plus commission. Responsibilities Taking orders over the phone, in person, and via digital tools. Entering stock, special, direct, and back orders as required. Providing customers with information and demonstration of online solution for fast and easy ordering through the website. Supporting the Branch Manager in transferring, warehousing, receiving, and shipping of stock and special material. Displaying and stocking material in counter and showroom; participating in promotions. Performing other duties as required or directed by the Manager. Qualifications Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel and website navigation. Strong customer service/communication skills; electrical or construction experience helpful. Ability to adapt quickly to changes. Dependable and strong work ethic. Ability to work in a team setting. Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs using manual and PIT equipment.
