About The Role Job Title: Project Estimator I Business Unit: Engineering, Construction, & Supply Chain (ECSC) Division: Pricing & Analytics Department: Pricing & Due Diligence Reports To: Manager Project Estimating Location: Juno Beach Office (JB) On behalf of our client we are looking for a motivated Project Estimator I to join our project estimating team. You will help prepare and manage cost estimates for multiple projects, focusing on accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with organizational goals. This entry‑level position offers an excellent opportunity for growth within the company. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed project cost estimates, including conceptual, preliminary, and definitive estimates for all projects. Perform conceptual engineering and develop preliminary construction plans to support estimating scope quantification. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation for accurate estimates. Perform value engineering analysis to identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project requirements. Develop estimation tools, databases, and methodologies to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of cost estimating processes. Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to account for potential project uncertainties. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure the best value. Track project costs and variances throughout the project lifecycle, updating estimates to reflect changes in scope or market conditions. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all estimating activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and equipment. Internship or practical experience in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Experience with cost estimation software and tools (e.g., PlanSwift, WinEst, CostX, or similar).
