Job Description

Job duties include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, and training on the job. Communication skills and essential functions/skills include the ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately, make correct monetary change, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Work conditions include exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather, in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees to over 90 degrees, sudden changes in temperature, fumes from food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing includes talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments include directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working alone and with others, working under stress, meeting strict quality control standards, dealing with people, analyzing and compiling data, making judgments and decisions. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and hand tasks. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include pencil/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel. Job duties also include delivering product by car to the customer's door, delivering flyers and doorhangers, and requiring a valid driver license with a safe driving record meeting company standards and access to an insured vehicle for delivery. Essential skills include navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses, navigate adverse terrain, and physical demands include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages during delivery, driving within a designated delivery area, and walking and climbing during delivery.
