Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and in-depth assessments of medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosing of surgical issues by interpreting medical imaging and laboratory data
• Collaborate with surgical teams to formulate and implement individualized patient care plans
• Support surgical activities by preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and facilitating instrument transfers
• Deliver outstanding patient care pre- and post-operatively, which includes administering medications, managing wounds, orchestrating discharge plans, and providing education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in surgical settings preferred

Certifications

• Valid and current PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State certification or eligibility to practice as a Physician Assistant
