Safety & Security Officer

The Safety and Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, team members, guests, and vendors on the premises. Responsibilities Make scheduled rounds inside and outside the building to maintain a secure environment. Schedule and conduct all fire and disaster drills for each shift and maintain accurate logs. Maintain security records, including safety inspections, repair needs, unusual circumstances, and service requests. Ensure all safety equipment is in good working order. Respond to all fire alarms and emergency calls and notify appropriate team members as necessary. Maintain a daily guard report for each shift and provide detailed explanations of occurrences, assuring accurate information sharing between shifts. Control entry and exit of guests, team members, residents, vendors, etc., and provide appropriate identification when requested. Perform light maintenance as needed, such as changing light bulbs and unclogging toilets/drains. Transport residents and/or team members on and/or off the property as needed or requested. Deliver packages to residents and distribute in‑house mail. Greet residents and guests, assist with luggage, and park and retrieve resident vehicles. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Two to three years of applicable experience.
