Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a healthcare facility within a 40-mile radius of the assigned area. This contract role involves providing high-quality emergency care during evening shifts. The primary focus is on delivering patient-centered care in a Level II Trauma environment, with a preference for candidates experienced in pediatric emergency services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, guaranteeing 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. Active state license for the specific region or eligibility for a compact license. Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an ER nurse. Must pass a 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia exam.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Shift Notes: 12-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
• Additional Information: The role requires resilience, a strong work ethic, the ability to adapt to change, and effective social skills. The unit is designated as a Level II Trauma center, and pediatric experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to work every other weekend and holiday rotation.
