ESL Teacher

*To provide English Language development instruction in listening, speaking, reading, and writing that appropriately aligns with students' needs, WIDA standards, and Massachusetts grade level standards *To continually assess students' English Language Proficiency in order to drive student focused instruction * To maintain data from a variety of sources on individual students' English Language Proficiency, demographic information, and academic progress * To monitor English Learner student progress in all settings * To administer ACCESS assessments and analyze students' progress * To review student records and educational histories in order to develop and maintain ELL Student profiles and goals for obtaining English Language and Academic Proficiencies * To communicate with parents and guardians and staff about student placement and progress * To provide outreach and work closely with families of ELLs * To attend and participate in school meetings involving English Learners * To regularly collaborate with content teachers and begin implementing co-teaching models and strategies * To participate in ELL Department Professional Development and meetings and attend monthly MVRHS faculty meetings
