Warehouse and Logistics Manager

Job Description

Warehouse and Logistics Manager up to 100K Yearly!

Key Requirements:
  • Must have previous warehouse and logistics management experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience overseeing warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, order processing, and logistics.
  • Experience supervising and managing approximately 10 warehouse employees.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues, establish workflows, and meet productivity and customer service goals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide effective written and verbal feedback.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) and commercial transportation regulations, particularly for interstate operations.
  • Understanding of interstate shipping requirements, as the company operates across Mississippi and Alabama and maintains a USDOT number.
  • Ability to coordinate and oversee the operation of Freightliner trucks.
  • Experience processing tickets and customer invoices.
  • Familiarity with HVAC supplies and equipment is relevant to the company's warehouse operations.

Shifts:
  • Standard schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM.
  • Must be flexible with working hours based on operational demands.
  • Operations may begin as early as 3:00 AM and may run until approximately 4:30 PM, depending on business needs.
