We are currently seeking a Software Development Senior Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Node.js. Will work closely with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to build secure, high‑performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain server-side logic using Node.js.
• Build RESTful or GraphQL APIs with proper authentication and security.
• Design and manage databases (SQL or NoSQL) ensuring efficiency and reliability.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrate third‑party services, APIs, and internal tools.
• Implement secure coding practices, error handling, logging, and monitoring.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, Passport.js).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and version control (Git).

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Knowledge of serverless architecture.
• Exposure to DevOps tools and practices.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Supertest).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6-8 years of experience in backend development with Node.js (adjust as needed).

Soft Skills

• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in an agile, fast‑paced environment.

Optional Add‑ons (based on company needs)

• Experience in fintech, e‑commerce, SaaS, or enterprise-grade systems.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and high‑scale distributed systems.
