Patient Support Specialist

Role: Patient Support Specialist focusing on rare metabolic disorders like PKU, providing case management, patient education, and adherence support. Responsibilities manage therapy initiation, coordinate with sales and patient engagement teams, educate patients/caregivers via phone/video, address adherence barriers, support transition milestones, and ensure compliance with regulations. Serve as PKU subject matter expert within Patient Services, contribute to workflow improvements, and document interactions accurately. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years in clinical nutrition, nursing, or patient counseling; active Dietitian/Nursing license or Master's preferred. Experience with metabolic disorders, motivational interviewing, and patient logistics essential.
