CMM Programming & Metrology EngineerLocation: Dallas, TXTravel: Up to 25%Relocation: YesSalary: $85,000 - $110,000Relocation Assistance AvailableFounded in the United Kingdom and rapidly expanding across the United States, this advanced manufacturing organization operates a growing network of software-enabled precision manufacturing facilities focused on rebuilding industrial capacity through technology, automation, and manufacturing excellence. We employ a growing team of engineers, machinists, programmers, and manufacturing professionals across multiple domestic and international facilities and recently established a 25,000-square-foot Dallas-Fort Worth manufacturing facility that serves as a major hub for production, engineering, and operational expansion. The Dallas operation supports high-precision CNC machining and advanced manufacturing for critical industries where quality, repeatability, and speed are essential. We support customers across aerospace, defense, energy, space systems, robotics, satellites, drones, nuclear technologies, and other advanced industrial sectors that require highly controlled manufacturing processes and rigorous quality systems. The CMM Programming & Metrology Engineer will serve as the enterprise technical authority for coordinate metrology, building the inspection standards, systems, and methodologies that ensure dimensional consistency and manufacturing excellence across a growing global production network.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and standardize enterprise-wide CMM programming methodologies, inspection procedures, metrology standards, and dimensional measurement systems across multiple manufacturing facilities.Create, validate, and optimize advanced automated CMM programs using Modus and other industry-leading metrology platforms while ensuring repeatability, accuracy, and measurement reliability.Serve as the organizations subject matter expert for ASME Y14.5 GD&T interpretation, translating complex engineering requirements into robust inspection strategies and measurement plans.Support new manufacturing site deployments by establishing metrology capabilities, training local personnel, implementing governance processes, and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.Lead continuous improvement initiatives involving inspection efficiency, measurement system capability, process validation, root cause investigations, MSA, SPC, and advanced quality methodologies.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Metrology, Quality, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 5 years of advanced CMM programming experience within a precision manufacturing environment.Strong expertise in GD&T interpretation and application, including ASME Y14.5 standards and complex dimensional inspection strategies.Demonstrated experience developing automated inspection programs and supporting aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments.Nice to have: Extensive Renishaw Modus experience, PC-DMIS, Calypso, PolyWorks, NX CMM, REVO systems, AS9100 experience, MSA, Gauge R&R, statistical analysis, CAD software experience, and enterprise-level metrology standardization initiatives.Ideal Candidate ProfileTechnical expert who enjoys building systems, standards, and processes that can scale across multiple manufacturing locations.Strong analytical thinker capable of balancing strategic metrology development with hands-on programming and inspection work.Passionate about precision manufacturing, dimensional accuracy, and establishing world-class quality systems.Effective mentor who enjoys developing inspectors, programmers, and quality professionals.Collaborative leader capable of influencing engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operational teams across multiple sites.What Success Looks LikeStandardized CMM programming and metrology practices deployed across the manufacturing network.Improved inspection repeatability, reproducibility, and measurement system capability.Reduced dimensional nonconformances and enhanced manufacturing consistency across facilities.Successful implementation of scalable inspection methodologies supporting future site expansion.Increased organizational capability in GD&T, metrology, and advanced dimensional quality systems.Why Join This Team?Help build the metrology foundation for a rapidly growing advanced manufacturing company.Play a critical role in establishing enterprise-wide standards that will shape future manufacturing operations.Work with cutting-edge CNC machining, aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing programs.Travel to manufacturing sites to help deploy and standardize best-in-class metrology practices.Join an organization committed to modernizing manufacturing through technology, automation, and operational excellence.BenefitsHealthDentalVision401K
