Seasonal Part Time Driver Mosquito

Mosquito Spray Truck Driver As a Mosquito Spray Truck Driver you will safely and effectively operate a mosquito control spray truck as part of an integrated mosquito management program. Your primary responsibility is to spray assigned zones, maintain equipment, record data, and adhere to safety and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Thoroughly spray assigned zones according to contract supervisor instructions. Use GPS monitor equipment nightly, report any malfunctions immediately. Accurately record all required data from each spray mission on the appropriate log sheet. Be familiar with all applicable chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and handle chemicals according to label specifications. Follow proper safety and spill procedures at all times and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Operate all equipment safely and correctly. Support, enforce, promote, and implement the company’s safety policies and programs. React promptly and effectively to change and handle other essential tasks as assigned. Work outdoors in potentially hazardous conditions, including weather, uneven terrain, pesticides, dust, noise, biting insects, hazardous plants, and wild or domestic animals. Lift and use items such as chemical containers and application equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Safely operate a motor vehicle and keep it and all other equipment clean. Essential Job Functions Demonstrated attention to detail. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in pest control. Comfortable with self‑directed work conditions after a training period. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license from the state of residence. Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills; able to present information in both internal and external settings. Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and ability to follow product label instructions for mixing. Ability to maintain required licenses/certificates as mandated by federal, state, and local regulations. Customer‑facing experience preferred.
