Financial Services Team Associate - Fort Lauderdale, FL

Description: The Financial Service Team Associate is a part time, potential to be full-time, hybrid role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role supports financial advisors with day-to-day client service, including preparing meeting materials, organizing client files, and responding to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner. The associate helps gather and verify client data, update financial planning tools and CRM systems, and assist with account applications, transfers, and maintenance requests. Daily responsibilities also include coordinating appointments, managing calendars, processing documentation, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with advisors and internal teams to maintain a high standard of accuracy, confidentiality, and client care.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in finance and financial services, with familiarity or interest in Financial Planning, Investments, and Insurance.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and comfort learning financial software and CRM systems.
• Customer service mindset, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site office environment and support advisors in a team-based setting. Ability to also work independently remotely.
• Previous experience in a financial services, banking, or professional office environment is preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
