Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager, you will use your functional and technical expertise in Allegro Horizon as well as your deep understanding of the issues and trends relevant to the energy trading industry today to realize groundbreaking technology solutions for our clients. You will provide functional and technical leadership to a multidisciplinary, international team, guiding systems design, architecture, user interface, and integration and development processes. You will work closely with client teams. You will also bring your experience to research and inform on enterprise-wide trends. You will act as a client advisor as well as help to enhance their Commodity Trading & Risk Management (CTRM) capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements for Allegro solution design, modeling transactions through the system to ensure business requirements are met.
• Provide techno-functional leadership on projects using commodity trading & risk management products such as Allegro especially for configuration and extensions design and development work
• Liaise with different business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful solution configuration.
• Manage tracks/projects/programs of work in accordance with projected timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Provide subject matter expertise in the CTRM space and drive knowledge-management.
• Guide, mentor and grow business consultants and developers
• Manage senior client relationships and actively participate in business development activities

Requirements

• Deep experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation and /or interactive design and architecture within energy trading and risk management.
• Understanding of the energy/commodity industry end-to-end is a must; knowledge of the Canadian industry (crude oil, refined products, natural gas, NGLs) highly desired. Experience in both physical and financial trading environment a plus.
• Experience in consulting role or similar client-facing role preferred.
• Experience in Allegro as an architect with experience towards managing business requirements across front, middle, and back office functions.
• Work experience with business processes, functional design, requirements, configuration, extension design/development, and support with Allegro Horizon.
• Experience integrating Allegro with external systems highly desired
• Proven leadership skills, managing client accounts and teams of 30+ people, throughout the project lifecycle.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to deliver powerful presentations and proposals and interact with senior clients.
• Experience leading Agile development efforts; planning multiple large projects, managing time, resources, priorities and goal achievement.
• Openness to travel and work at client offices post COVID.

Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of .NET and scripting languages.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Good package implementation experience
