Retail Sales Associate - 0427

Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time retail sales associates in pawn store locations nationwide. The Associate partners with the entire store staff to provide customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. Responsibilities Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Performs non‑management open/close procedures. Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise. Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements. Handles cash and negotiable items securely. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Collaborates with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience. Completes all required training. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willingness and ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods. Ability to work with firearms and achieve firearms certification. Minors of 18 years of age. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and perform basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Ability to work in multiple locations and on a flexible retail schedule (including weekends and holidays). Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Commission & Compensation Hourly wage commensurate with experience plus a commission incentive plan. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit.
