HR Solutions & AI Enablement Leader

The Opportunity

The HR Solutions & AI Enablement leader will help transform HR Technology from a traditional systems support function into an AI-enabled, automation-first capability that improves how employees, managers, and HR teams get work done. The role exists to create clearer ownership for responsible AI strategy, intelligent automation, simplified HR journeys, and innovation discipline—delivering faster, more intuitive experiences while improving quality, consistency, and business impact across NetApp.

What You'll Do

AI Enablement & Strategy

• Own the HR Technology AI strategy and roadmap, ensuring responsible AI adoption is supported by clear governance, data readiness, privacy, security, and human oversight.

• Identify and prioritize high-value AI and automation use cases that improve employee, manager, and HR team experiences while delivering measurable business value.

• Translate AI opportunities into practical solutions by moving the right ideas from discovery through prototyping, testing, adoption, and scaled implementation.

• Partner with HR and enterprise technology teams to align emerging AI capabilities with scalable, compliant, and operationally sustainable solutions.

Process Optimization & Automation

• Redesign manual, fragmented, or inefficient HR processes into simpler, more consistent workflows that are easier for employees, managers, and HR teams to use.
• Lead automation opportunities across HR systems, services, and operations, with clear measures for adoption, efficiency, quality, risk reduction, and experience impact.
• Strengthen process controls and standard ways of working so automation improves consistency without creating new complexity.

Product, Platform & Operations Partnership

• Serve as a strategic partner across Product, Platform, Operations, IT, COEs, and HR leadership to connect business priorities with technology direction.
• Clarify priorities, dependencies, feasibility, ownership, decision rights, and handoffs across HR and technology partners to improve execution and reduce fragmented accountability.
• Provide solution guidance and feasibility input to ensure platforms are integrated, governed, and ready for current operations and future needs.

Strategic Planning & Innovation Solutioning

• Build a disciplined innovation pipeline that evaluates emerging HR technologies, validates value and risk, and converts the strongest ideas into scalable solutions.
• Assess vendor and platform options, shape investment priorities, and support business cases for HR technology modernization.
• Shift HR Technology from reactive delivery to proactive business enablement by anticipating future needs and creating practical paths to implementation.

What You'll Bring

• 12+ years of progressive experience leading enterprise transformation, AI or digital enablement, automation, process redesign, product leadership, or related technology-enabled change, with a deep understanding of the employee experience.
• Strong understanding of HR platforms, data flows, integrations, governance, security, and enterprise technology operating models.
• Experience leading AI, automation, or digital enablement initiatives within an enterprise environment, with practical knowledge of responsible AI principles.
• Proven ability to translate business priorities into scalable technology roadmaps, solution designs, and execution plans.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence HR, IT, COEs, operations, product, platform, and senior leadership stakeholders.
• Demonstrated strength in process redesign, change enablement, governance, prioritization, and delivery discipline.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technology concepts in clear business language and drive alignment across diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise employee experience platforms, knowledge management tools, chatbots, workflow automation, intelligent automation, or enterprise AI platforms
• Background in HR operations, shared services, people analytics, or HR product/platform delivery.
• Experience building governance models, technology intake processes, vendor assessments, or innovation pipelines.
• Familiarity with agile delivery, design thinking, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture practices.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 196,350 - 292,600 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
