Medical Laboratory ScientistThe Medical Laboratory Scientist performs routine and special laboratory assays of patient specimens in all sections of Clinical Laboratory at an elevated level as a true generalist to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease and exercises independent judgment when evaluating the validity of test results prior to result reporting. Operates and calibrates all equipment in the area of specialization, evaluates the validity of laboratory data, records test results, communicates with physician, pathologists and nursing staff regarding test procedures and results.Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Medical TechnologyPreferred Qualifications:Experience with EPICExperience with Vitros, Unity and WellSkyASCP Specialty certificationsBilingual in SpanishHousing: Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
