Ultrasound Technologist

Responsibilities

• Provide quality images for interpretation through diagnostic imaging using ultrasound and Parks Flo-Lab
• Prepare and maintain diagnostic equipment and supplies.
• Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
• Demonstrate clinical excellence.
• Communicate critical findings to providers and/or notate any significant barriers that could affect ability to accurate interpret images.
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality and patient data/history).
• Assist in maintaining clean, orderly procedure rooms and storage areas.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.

Requirements & Skills

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date.
• Certificate or associate's degree required
• 1 year ultrasound experience preferred
• 1 year vascular experience preferred
• Registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) - required
• Registered vascular technologist (RVT) - obtain within one year of employment
