Plumbing Technician

Plumbing TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to perform various tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Plumbing Technician will ensure that all plumbing work is completed efficiently and in compliance with safety regulations.Responsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layouts.Perform heavy lifting as required for various plumbing tasks.Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure proper functionality.Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and handymen, to complete construction projects.Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.Weld pipes and fittings as necessary for specific plumbing applications.Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.Experience:Proven experience in construction plumbing or a related field is preferred.Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is essential.Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks on a regular basis.Experience with welding techniques is a plus.A background in maintenance person services or general construction is advantageous.We encourage candidates who are dedicated, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute their skills in a dynamic work environment to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Plumbing Technician.
