Lead Tech, Maintenance position supporting a new biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Durham, North Carolina. The role involves installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex processing and utility equipment while developing standard operating procedures and preventative maintenance plans.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on process, support, utility, and automated manufacturing systems
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and preventative maintenance plans
Assist with calibration, validation, automation testing, and root cause investigations
Execute engineering change requests and support deviation investigations
Order, maintain, and track spare parts inventory; identify cost-saving opportunities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, or associate degree with 2+ years production/maintenance experience
Alternatively, 6+ years plant maintenance experience with technical craft skills
Knowledge of GMP manufacturing operations and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PLCs, and CMMS database systems
Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights; willing to work 12-hour shifts and on-call rotations

Compensation: $85,500-$134,700
