• Perform equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, component repairs, and basic welding to keep equipment running safely and reliably.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, manage parts and supplies, and complete service documentation accurately and on time.
• Deliver dependable customer service, participate in safety meetings, and continue building your technical skills through hands-on experience and training.

What You'll Bring

• A high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of forklift repair or related mechanical experience, and a valid driver's license.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of material handling equipment and its systems, with certifications on at least 50% of the company's product line. Trade school education and Hyster-Yale certifications are a plus.
• A safety-first mindset, a willingness to learn, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, perform physical work, and participate in an on-call schedule as needed.

At Briggs, you're more than a technician. You're an important part of a team that takes pride in what we do and how we do it. If you're ready to put your skills to work, keep learning, and build a career with people who genuinely care, we'd love to meet you.
