About the Position

Job Title

Travel: Respiratory Therapist (3x12's – Days)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 3x12's (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments to evaluate pulmonary status and identify treatment needs
• Administer treatment for pulmonary disease in ER and critical care settings
• Provide pulmonary-related patient and family education
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
• Deliver respiratory care across a 12-bed ICU and general floor units

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Respiratory Therapy experience, with ER and Critical Care background required
• CRT or RRT Certification required
• Active Virginia Respiratory Therapy License required
• ACLS Certification (AHA only) required
• BLS Certification (AHA only) required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong comfort level working in both Emergency Room and Critical Care environments
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting
