Job Details Job Location: Bar Cino Newport – Newport, RI 02840 Salary Range: $18.00 – $20.00 Hourly Position: Line Cook About the Position In the Line Cook role, you will prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food for customers. About You You are passionate about food, have a strong sense of urgency, great organizational skills, and a positive attitude. You have prior cooking experience or are willing to learn a new skill. Essential Duties Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe to prepare soups, salads, gravies, desserts, sauces, and casseroles. Wash, peel, cut, and shred vegetables and fruits to prepare them for use. Prepare meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods. Prepare food products as determined by recipe, technique, and procedure. Qualifications Must have a flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed. Prior experience is a plus but not required.
