Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatment services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with established goals and clinical guidelines
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and responses to therapy accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progress
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients throughout all treatment activities

Required Qualifications

• Active COTA certification through NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
• Active and valid Florida state license or eligibility to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Ability to begin assignment as soon as possible
• Expected minimum of 30 hours per week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a similar care setting
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and patient populations
