Responder Team Lead / Mobile Crisis Management (Regular) The role serves as the primary contact and coordinator for individuals with mental health or substance abuse issues in residential, school, workplace, and community settings. The Team Lead will monitor services identified in each person’s Person Centered Plan, supervise staff, and ensure high‑quality support. Responsibilities Collaborate with paraprofessionals and clinical staff to maintain communication, provide feedback, and standardize procedures. Participate in a 24/7/365 first‑responder on‑call system, coordinating resources according to consumer needs. Provide individual‑specific training for employees and ensure they have the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Interview, hire, train, assign, and direct work for staff; appraise performance; reward and correct performance issues. Complete Service Authorization Requests and ensure proper authorization before service delivery. Provide clinical supervision to all employees. Minimize negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence on recipients’ daily living and personal development. Maintain daily full service notes documenting service details, Medicaid ID, purpose, interventions, time, effectiveness, and staff credentials. Adhere to on‑call rotation requirements. Requirements Preferred license: LCSW, LCSW‑A, LCMHC, LCMHC‑A, LCAS, LCAS‑A. Qualified Professional status (license, certificate, or graduate degree with required experience) as defined by North Carolina regulations. Minimum of 1 year full‑time post‑graduate experience or appropriate bachelor’s level experience when combined with four years of related experience. General working knowledge of the human services delivery system in North Carolina. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Preferred supervisory experience and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records. Successful completion of background checks, drug testing, education verification, and credentialing requirements.
