Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT (R) certification and 1+ year of specialty experience for a cardiac and interventional radiology role.

Details

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit performing special procedures
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call requirements include one night per week from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM and one weekend every 4 weeks from Friday 7:00 PM to Monday 6:30 AM
• Must be within 30 minutes of the facility to take call
• Travelers may be required to float to the Ridgewood Observation Unit as needed

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification required in hand
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• NJ State Radiography License required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the specialty
• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series and booster required with no exemptions
• Proficiency in a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, biopsies, and vascular closure systems
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures and dysrhythmia interpretation

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include equipment set up, room circulating, and maintaining a sterile field while scrubbing
• Performs a variety of vascular, genitourinary, and neurological studies and procedures
• Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at the local rate
• Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment
