School Bus Driver

Role Overview: We are seeking a responsible School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school and activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and fostering a positive environment. Key Responsibilities Operate school buses and commercial vehicles safely, following traffic laws and safety regulations Transport students to various locations, including schools and events Enforce behavior management policies and maintain order on the bus Conduct vehicle inspections for safety and cleanliness Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and dispatchers Assist students with boarding and disembarking, including those with special needs Maintain accurate records of routes, attendance, and incidents Follow all transportation regulations and safety standards Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in bus or commercial driving; school bus experience preferred Strong communication skills, including multilingual abilities beneficial Knowledge of vehicle maintenance for inspections and minor troubleshooting Experience working with children or in childcare enhances understanding of student needs Valid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred Ability to document transportation activities effectively Additional Details This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid training, and tuition reimbursement, with a focus on ensuring student safety and a positive transportation experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Coastal Elite Pro
