Material Handler

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for a Material Handler in Peck, MI . Responsibilities for a Material Handler include but are not limited to:

• Verify and maintain records for incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Prepare, package, and pack items for shipment according to company procedures.

• Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently.

• Assemble orders and verify accuracy against shipping or customer orders.

• Receive and unpack materials and supplies.

• Inspect incoming shipments for shortages, damages, or defects and compare against purchase orders.

• Expedite materials to the appropriate department or storage location.

• Operate material handling equipment such as cranes, hoists, or powered industrial trucks.

Candidates for Material Handler must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work overtime as needed.

• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to calculate measurements, percentages, and basic mathematical formulas.

• Ability to identify problems, gather information, and draw valid conclusions.

Monday - Friday

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
