Position Summary Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. TourtoTeach communication and collaboration with all levels of associates regarding store operations utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions. Communicates business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives such as store of the community and community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints and issues are successfully resolved, developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies and providing process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience. Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL, Profit/Loss statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses in the designated business area. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow and operational processes, developing and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training and mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition and fostering a belonging mindset in the workplace. Coordinates and completes job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, identifying and communicating goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity. Promotes a culture of belonging, respects the individual, attracts and retains best talent, acts with integrity and serves customers with focus and results. Minimum Qualifications - 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. - For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. - For facilities that sell only ammunition, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. - Associates must attend and complete all required job trainings and assessments. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. - General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring and firing. The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00–$100,000.00.
