What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Assistant at TruVet Pet Hospital, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the health and happiness of our furry patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting veterinarians during exams and procedures.
• Providing compassionate care to animals before, during, and after treatments.
• Preparing exam rooms and equipment for use.
• Administering medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating files.
• Educating pet owners on proper care and follow-up instructions.
• Keeping the hospital clean, organized, and safe for both pets and people.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for animal care and has the skills to thrive in a busy veterinary environment. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a similar role.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with pet owners and team members.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
