Job Overview: Under the supervision of a Dietary Department Manager, the Cook Helper completes tasks as outlined in the job flow for the daily position assigned. Qualifications: Required: Knowledge of food production, service and sanitation Prior cooking experience in a healthcare facility Position may require you to work every other weekend depending on the department's needs. Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent Culinary Degree or Certification. Serv Safe Certified Prior experience in food service Knowledge of food production, service and sanitation Scheduling Requirements Shift: Day Status: Part Time Hours: 15 hrs. (2 days a week) Essential Functions: Complete tasks as outlined in the job flow for the daily position assigned Retrieve, prep and prepare items according to the daily production sheets and recipes. Follow all HACCP guidelines for food and physical safety.
