Pool Maintenance Tech

Job Details Location: General - Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304 Position Type: Part Time Shift: Any Responsibilities Perform daily chemical tests and update maintenance logs. Add chemicals as needed. Vacuum pools regularly, keeping them free of dirt and debris. Check appropriate water levels; fill as needed and report leaks. Check pool and spa water temperature, ensuring heaters are working properly; adjust heaters to meet seasonal needs. Inspect all equipment (motors, pumps, filters, flow meters, auto fillers) to ensure proper functioning and report signs of wear and tear. Confirm all pool safety equipment (safety rings, ropes, anti-entrapment devices) are present, functioning properly, and perform tests as needed. Maintain chlorinators, chemical feeders, valves, and pumps; assess electrical issues related to pool equipment. Manage inventory of chemicals, pool lights, cartridges, fittings, etc. Keep pool pump rooms clean and free of debris. Identify and report uneven surfaces or safety hazards around pool decks. Report inappropriate behavior or use of prohibited items (e.g., glass) by tenants and guests that pose safety issues. Report contaminants (e.g., fecal matter) in the pool that may present health hazards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be able to work outdoors and in environments with moderate to extreme temperatures, including freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F) for extended periods. Must be capable of standing for up to 4 hours and moving well‑paced between simultaneous tasks. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and push/pull carts and equipment up to 250 lbs. Must be able to set up and take down large tents. Must be able to maneuver in limited spaces and perform bending, stooping, squatting, and stretching for cleaning tasks. Requires good grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, as well as visual acuity for near vision and depth perception. #J-18808-Ljbffr North Beach Village Resort
