In this role, the IT Specialist will work with our IT Manager to provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist in deploying new systems, and maintain user productivity through responsive service. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of hardware configuration, networking fundamentals, and software administration. This position also requires an effective communicator who successfully collaborates with other departments on special projects and initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for end users (desktop, laptop, mobile, peripherals). Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues. Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of devices. Help with software deployments, system upgrades, patches, and updates. Monitor and maintain network infrastructure. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripherals. Assist in user account management. Document procedures, configurations, and known issues and resolutions. Maintain inventory of IT assets and coordinate procurement. Support backup and recovery operations, system updates, and security measures. Collaborate on projects and company initiatives. Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and security trends. Other tasks as needed to support the team and evolving business. Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, computer science or 2–3 years of relevant professional experience. 2+ years of administering and troubleshooting common issues with Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, etc.). 2+ years of administering Microsoft 365 environments. Strong foundational knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and security concepts. Basic understanding of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, access points). Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems. Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices. Preferred Experience Apple Business Manager and MDM Solutions. Microsoft Intune and Defender for Endpoint. Industry Certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, etc.). Working cross-functionally with finance, marketing, and operations teams. Administering Business Software Suites (CRM, ERP, Shopify, etc.). Experience with scripting or automation (Bash/Zsh, PowerShell, Python, etc.).
