The ideal candidate will inspire students to love math, prepare them for future math courses, and develop math confidence through engaging, personalized instruction. Integrate faith and learning in meaningful and relevant ways. Create a supportive classroom environment where students feel confident expressing questions. Foster problem-solving skills and logical reasoning in students. Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve performance and critical thinking skills. Collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive math program that meets diverse student needs. Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and other community initiatives. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and support. Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school's continuous improvement. Uphold the school's mission, values, and policies. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success and the overall school community. Attend faculty meetings, professional development days, and school events as required. Support and participate in the school’s faith development programs. Qualifications Committed Christian who is a faithful member of a local Christian church. Successful applicants must affirm the Statement of Faith and Biblical Principles, which can be found Bachelor’s degree in Math, Education, or a related field. Valid teaching certificate. High school math teaching experience preferred (Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre‑calculus and/or Calculus); new graduates with strong enthusiasm for math education are encouraged to apply. Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills. Creative, motivated, and dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to move around classroom, including navigating student desks and materials Ability to communicate clearly and audibly, including speaking and hearing Ability to lift and carry materials, including occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
