Line Cook (Part Time)

Overview Enjoy weekends off, with only occasional weekend coverage required for vacations or other business needs. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, ensuring menu items meet presentation and quality standards, maintaining a clean kitchen environment, monitoring ingredient quality, and managing stock levels efficiently, among other duties. Responsibilities Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) Cook food in various utensils or grillers Check food while cooking to stir or turn Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Check quality of ingredients Monitor stock and stock products when there are shortages Other duties as assigned Qualifications Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays 1 year of line cook experience preferred Servsafe Food Handler Certification preferred Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail Teamwork and collaboration Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors What can you look forward to?
