Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/17/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for an assignment at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. This position offers immediate interviews for qualified candidates looking to work within a high-volume Level I Trauma Center. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients within the Operating Room before, during, and immediately following procedures. Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical specialties in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment. Coordinate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure optimal patient care and safety. Prepare and maintain sterile fields, surgical equipment, and room setup. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards. Qualifications & Requirements Licensure: Active California RN License (or eligible for immediate practice). Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Operating Room experience; Level I Trauma experience preferred. Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, MAB (Managing Assaultive Behavior), and LA Fire Safety certification. Additional Requirements: Live Scan fingerprinting completed on-site in LA County prior to orientation.
